The area is very familiar with the Robinson name in the legal field. Charles E. Robinson, Jr., owner, is the fourth generation attorney to practice in the area.

Charles E. Robinson, Sr. began the firm in 1992 as Charles E. Robinson, P.C. In 1996 Charles E. Robinson, Jr. became associated with the firm and in 1998 Charles E. Robinson, Jr. was named partner and the name of the firm was changed to The Law Firm of Robinson and Robinson, P.C. Alexander M. Weisskopf who was previously practicing in Birmingham, Alabama became a new member of the firm in October, 2000. The Alabama Legislature added a new judicial seat in the Thirtieth Judicial Circuit and on July 1, 2001, The Honorable Governor Don Siegleman swore in Charles E. Robinson, Sr. as Circuit Judge for Place 2 in the Thirtieth Judicial Circuit, St. Clair County, Alabama. Since the appointment of Charles E. Robinson, Sr. the firm name was changed to its current name, The Robinson Law Firm, P.C.
